The story behind this layout was that we thought the site wasn’t Blakeified enough, if you were to scroll down on the bottom of the page on the old Purple Argyle layout when it was first up, you would see tons of pictures of Blake Lewis, but that's the thing, you had to scroll down, haha. So that’s pretty much why we added the picture. Oh yeah, our logo is themed to be exactly like Blake Lewis’ old logo, just like our new one is made to look like his first! Awesome, isn’t it?
First to state the idea of adding the picture was Krystal.
Ah, who doesn’t love the holiday season? To be honest, we had been planning this layout since before our website was even launched in November 2008! And who on earth could ever forget our Blakeified Christmas Tree! That even had an Angel on top! We had so much fun making this layout. Plaid fits the holidays so nicely. We wanted to keep this layout forever and it was so hard to change it once the holiday season had passed.

Wow! So many memories with this one! From designing it, people loving it, all the way to Blake Lewis saying he loved the remix of his logo and thanking us for making it on Twitter. We don’t think he realizes how happy he made us! We didn’t know if he would even approve of it, but wow! He loved it. Blake Lewis is the nicest person in the world, we know that. There’s really not much of a story behind this layout then just besides to show off our new logo and the fact that we needed a new layout.

Who can forget this one? Being only up for 2 months in 2009, it was actually a huge success, everyone who visited the site loved it, with this layout and our amount of hits, we’re officially the #1 Blake Lewis Fan Site on the web! This layout is made to look like it’s from the 80’s, we used 80’s colors, made an amazing background and more. Who can forget the Cake or Bliss poll? By the time we took down the poll, all the results were tied, although Blake & Chris prefer Bliss over Cake, the fans proved it doesn’t matter what they call them, they’ll always be Blissful Cake!? Or... Whatever you call them, haha.

This was the Holidays 2009 layout, it was up all through December 2009 until January 7th, 2010. A lot of people really liked its vibrant holiday colors. This was another Christmas where we Blakeified our tree for Christmas tree for one night. So much fun! And that year, there was not only a picture! We recorded a video of it.

Our first ever site layout! This was inspired by and the colors are taken from a Purple Argyle sweater Blake Lewis wore. He looked so good in it, we decided to theme our site after it. The site was originally going to be themed Plaid, How Many Words or Audio Day Dream themed, but BlakeLewisOfficial.com already was themed How Many Words at the time and we needed to get the site up since we had bought the domain and such months before the launch of the site.
